香港史上最大規模的抗爭運動，歷時79日佔領馬路，但結果卻無功而還，到底這79日發生了什麼事？失敗原因何在？
佔領過後，各派社運人物，都往自己面上貼金，紛紛出書講TALK，講述自己佔領期間的功績，甚至還舉行紀念活動，但一場失敗的抗爭，到底有什麼好紀念？有什麼功績可言？
我們需要的是反省！沉痛的反省，面對失敗，找出失敗原因，鞭屍問罪，矢志絕不重蹈覆轍！香港人才有可能找到出路！
傷痛日子不堪回首，但為了未來，我們只能忍痛回望，挖開痛處仔細審視。這件事誰也不願做，大家只愛矯情歌頌，而且也沒多少人能夠做到，79日紛亂的佔領日子，誰能好好紀錄分析？
佔領期間，不論行動參與及採訪工作，熱血公民、熱血時報都站在最前線，我們在各個佔領區皆設有據點，要為這場失敗的抗爭做一個沉痛的總結，我們有能力也有責任去做到！
《雨傘失敗錄》，成書後估計將達16萬字以上，當中涉及大量的資料整理與編輯工作，需要大量人力資源，將整場抗爭最不為人知的一面，完整揭露出來，為香港人留下最真實的雨傘革命歷史紀錄。
為了能夠完成這個工作，我們需要預售書本，才有足夠經費完成這艱鉅的歷史任務。資料搜集、考證、編寫、分析、編輯等等工作，估計需要大約五個月時間，暫定明年二月成書推出巿面！
