美國總統特朗普在社交網站貼文，呼籲蘋果公司將生產線由中國遷回美國，以避免受到貿易戰的惡果。

特朗普表示，蘋果產品的價格，可能因為美國向中國貨品徵稅而上升，但就有一個簡單的解決方法，可以做到零關稅，而且是稅務誘因，就是在美國，而非中國製造產品，認為現在就應開始在美國興建新廠房。

蘋果公司早前表示，指美國向中國產品加徵新關稅，將會令到一系列產品，包括Apple Watch、AirPods、HomePod、Mac Mini等產品漲價，但卻偏偏未有提及iPhone。
