美國最高法院周五（1月17日）裁定，維持短片影音平台TikTok「不賣就禁」的法令。TikTok隨後發聲明警告，除非總統拜登政府向蘋果和Google等公司保證不執法，否則TikTok將於限期當日，即周日（1月19日）在美國「熄燈」。
法院以9比0表決結果裁定，使得TikTok陷入困境，之後命運掌握在即將就任總統的特朗普手中，他曾表示在本月20日宣誓就職後拯救TikTok。
TikTok目前在美國的用戶數目，多達1.7億。
TikTok禁令生效後，如果蘋果、Google及甲骨文等公司繼續在美國向TikTok提供服務，可能會面臨巨額罰款。
