美國總統特朗普於社交網站發炮，指不值得花時間舉行每日疫情記者會。
特朗普批評傳媒於記者會上，只有惡意提問，並拒絕準確報道真相，反問白宮舉行防疫記者會目的何在。
特朗普又指傳媒因為記者會取得高收視，但美國人除了假新聞之外，甚麼也得不到，因此不值得花時間及精力舉行記者會，他於周六（4月25日）亦無再出席疫情記者會。
在上周四的記者會上，因提及注射消毒劑殺滅病毒，而引起各方批評，他之後澄清只是諷刺現時流傳的各種謠言。
