馬來西亞反對派在首都吉隆坡的示威持續，要求涉及貪污醜聞的首相納吉下台。昨日（8月29日）就有示威者參與由大馬「乾淨與公平選舉聯盟」（淨選盟，Bersih 4.0）號召的集會期間，飲了有人提供的加料免費飲品，有13人中毒要送院。
據《星洲日報》報道，加料的包裝飲料每包都有針孔，「淨選盟4.0」醫療團隊總協調陳源太更證實，有數包菊花茶被注射不明藥物。他指13名中毒人士當中，有2人是兒童，當中6名成人送往中央醫院治療，其中1名女子情況特別嚴重，症狀主要是腹瀉。
根據中毒的人士提供的資料，加料飲品是來自1名孟加拉男子，他將飲品放在端姑阿都拉曼路路旁，並展示紙條指示飲品是免費提供給集會者享用。
今午淨選盟在官方 Facebook 專頁上載了相關片段，見到兩盒未開的紙包飲品，一按就可以擠出飲料，相信是包裝經過刺穿後造成。

This seems to be an act of sabotage and an attempt to poison our participants, who have since been given medical attention and taken to the hospital.We urge the police to investigate this as soon as possible and bring the culprits to justice. Police reports have been made.We also advice all participants to not accept any free drinks distributed by people not authorized by the Bersih 4 organizing committee.If they do, we advise them to check the top seam of the packet drinks for puncture holes, and if found, immediately report it to the security unit.
